M.Com (General) and M.Com (Finance and Accounts) are affiliated to Bengaluru City University. The intake strength for the course is 40. Admissions are based on merit as per the Karnataka Education Act. 50% of the seats are filled through the University Centralized admission process based on merit. 50% of the seats are filled by the college management 'BHS Higher Education Society'.

The department was started in the year 2013 – 14.

Presently, Dr. Vasantavalli is the coordinator of the department.

Eligibility for M.Com (Gen) and M.Com (F&A)

Candidates who have passed the three year B.Com./ B.B.M. degree examination of Bangalore University or any other University considered as equivalent thereto, provided they have obtained not less than 50% (45% for SC/ST/Category-I candidates) marks in the aggregate in Commerce subjects.
